Pilates

Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise that focuses on strengthening the body, with particular emphasis on core stability. It encourages a strong mind-body connection, promoting awareness of breath, posture, and movement. Through controlled, precise exercises, Pilates helps to improve overall fitness, enhance flexibility, build strength and support better balance and alignment. It’s a discipline rooted in control, encouraging you to move with intention and focus.

Reformer Pilates

Reformer Pilates builds on these principles using a specialised piece of equipment called the Reformer. This apparatus uses springs, a sliding carriage, and adjustable resistance to create a dynamic, full-body workout that targets muscles more deeply and enhances mobility. The support and resistance offered by the Reformer allow for greater precision and challenge, making it suitable for all levels—from beginners to athletes. It’s especially beneficial for improving core strength, posture and joint stability, while also offering a low-impact option for injury rehabilitation and prevention.
