Savvy Studios & Savvy Online – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Savvy Studios, provider of in-person dance and Pilates classes, and Savvy Online, our on-demand wellness and exercise platform.

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using our services. By registering with Savvy Studios or Savvy Online, you confirm that you understand and accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with enrolment or use of our services.

  1. Account Setup and Registration

When you register for your first class (whether in person or online), an account is automatically created. You can manage your account via the Members Login on our website, where you can:

  • Update personal details
  • View your enrolled classes or subscriptions
  • Manage payment details

  1. Class Timetable
  • Savvy Studios runs classes in alignment with the academic year (September to July).
  • No classes are held during half-term breaks or school holidays unless otherwise advertised.

  1. Savvy Studios – In-Person Classes

3.1 Trial Classes

  • Adult trial classes are available for £12.50
  • Reformer Pilates trial classes are available for £18.50
  • All trials must be booked in advance and are subject to space availability

3.2 Class Fees

  • All classes are charged on a monthly subscription basis. Fees must be paid in advance via our online payment provider, Stripe, or in person at reception.
  • If a monthly payment fails, Stripe will attempt to retry payment automatically after a few days.
  • If the payment continues to fail, your Advance Monthly Payment (taken at registration) will be used to cover the upcoming month.
  • Once this advance has been used, the account must be settled to continue attending classes. Failure to resolve the outstanding payment will result in suspension of class access.

3.3 Cancellations

  • One full calendar month’s written notice is required to cancel a class place. Notice must be emailed to hello@savvystudios.co.uk before your next payment is due.
  • The date we receive your email marks the start of your notice period — cancellations cannot be backdated.
  • Your advance payment will cover your final month. Example: To finish classes at the end of February, you must email notice in January before the February payment is charged.

3.4 Attendance and Missed Classes

  • Savvy Studios does not offer drop-in attendance.
  • Missed sessions are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to other days or times.
  • Your space is reserved exclusively for you; class fees remain payable regardless of attendance.

3.5 Class Changes

  • You may request to change or add classes mid-term. Any difference in fees must be paid immediately.
  • Class times and teaching staff are subject to change at the discretion of management.

3.6 One-to-One Cancellations

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel a one-to-one session. Notice must be emailed to hello@savvystudios.co.uk.
  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.

  1. Workshops

4.1 Booking and Payment

  • Workshop places must be booked in advance through our website or team.
  • Full payment is required to confirm your place and is non-refundable.
  • If you cannot attend your booked session, you cannot automatically transfer to another workshop or regular class. If you notify us in writing with reasonable notice and we are able to fill your place from our waiting list or other enquiries, we may issue you a credit towards a future workshop. If we are unable to fill your place, the booking and payment will be forfeited in full. Credits are valid for 6 months from the date of issue and are not exchangeable for cash.

4.2 Cancellation by Us

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule workshops due to low numbers, staff illness, venue problems or unforeseen events. In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or transfer to another session. We are not liable for any travel or accommodation costs you may incur as a result.

4.3 Participation

  • Participants must arrive on time. Late arrivals may not be permitted entry and will not be refunded.
Respectful behaviour is expected at all times. Disruptive individuals may be asked to leave without refund.
Please notify us in advance of any medical needs, access requirements or allergies.

4.4 Liability

  • All activities are undertaken at your own risk. Savvy Studios is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage to personal property.

  1. General Terms (Applies to All Services)

6.1 Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, civil emergencies, or government-mandated closures.

6.2 Teachers

  • If a regular teacher is unavailable, a qualified substitute will lead the class. We reserve the right to change instructors when necessary.

6.3 Duty of Care and Safety

  • Physical contact may be used for safe guidance in dance or Pilates, always conducted professionally and appropriately.
  • Children will not be allowed to leave the premises alone unless prior written permission is given by a parent or guardian.

  1. Photography and Media

To celebrate achievements, enhance learning, and promote our services, we capture images and videos during classes, events, and performances. By registering with Savvy Studios, you agree to the following:

  • Classroom Content: Images and short videos may be taken in regular classes and workshops for educational, marketing, and social media purposes.
  • Third Parties: Occasionally, trusted third-party photographers or videographers (e.g. media companies or show collaborators) will be involved in filming or photography. They may publish approved images or clips on their own platforms for promotional purposes in partnership with Savvy Studios.
  • Shows and Performances: Our public performances, including annual shows, are professionally filmed and shared with families. Due to the nature of group choreography and full-stage filming, it is not possible to exclude individual students from appearing in recordings. If you do not wish your child to be filmed, they will unfortunately be unable to take part in the performance.
  • We will never publish identifying information without written consent.
  • If you wish to opt out of photography or video outside of performances, please inform us in writing at hello@savvystudios.co.uk.

We take care to use all media responsibly, professionally, and in line with safeguarding best practices.

  1. Intellectual Property
  • All materials, course content, class structures, and media remain the intellectual property of Savvy Studios and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.

  1. Property and Damages
  • Savvy Studios is not responsible for personal belongings left on the premises.
  • Parents/guardians are financially responsible for any damage caused by their child to property belonging to Savvy Studios.

  1. Behaviour and Misconduct

We reserve the right to remove or suspend any participant for serious misconduct or breach of these Terms, with or without notice.

  1. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding any claim.

  1. Privacy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

  1. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Significant changes will be announced via email or posted on our website. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any changes.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any legal disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
