Jennifer Bassett

Jennifer started dancing at the age of 3 and trained in all styles of dance and performing arts at stage school. At the age of 19 she embarked on her professional career on Costa Cruises and then went on to work for Celebrity Cruises as dance captain over many contracts. 

She then went on to work for “Spirit of the Dance” and QDOS productions appearing in “Strictly Ballroom” and “boogie nights” on tour.

Jennifer has danced for artists such as the Zutons, Fatboy Slim, Audio Bully’s, Soul to Soul, James Morrison and prodigy.

One of her favourite jobs was pantomime where she had the experience of working with the likes of Denise Van Outen, Wayne Sleep and Lesley Joseph. 

Later on in her career Jennifer enjoyed contracts with Viva productions and Plan B productions on various cabaret, musical theatre and street dance shows.

Jennifer has also worked as an assistant choreographer, helping to run auditions and set up production shows.

Now, as an Associate of the IDTA and trained Barre Fitness Instructor Jennifer is a committed and passionate teacher and enjoys training the next generation of dancers and performers.
